Our First Album is Now on iTunes!

The title says it all – the first Hideo album is here! You can download “Songs from the Shiny Mug” at any of the following:

iTunes &nbsp&nbsp|&nbsp&nbsp CDBaby &nbsp&nbsp|&nbsp&nbsp Amazon MP3

Unfortunately, we don’t have direct control over the pricing and album structure for iTunes and Amazon MP3, so you’ll notice a few differences between these three sources. CDBaby is the true representation of how we want to sell our album: you can get tracks 1-3 individually and track 4 if you buy the album. iTunes makes all tracks available individually (unless a track is longer than 10 minutes or unless you’re a mainstream artist with a large record company behind you). Amazon MP3 allows for album-only tracks, but they set the album price at… wait for it… $9 dollars; WTF, Amazon?!?

So… don’t buy the album through Amazon MP3; $9 for four tracks is ridiculous. If you don’t do iTunes, use CDBaby (you’ll get MP3s just like you would from Amazon).

Many thanks again to Stephen Berke at Berke Sound in San Francisco for making this album possible for us (you can check out a behind-the-scenes video of our time in the studio here).
