If Blizzard were based in Japan, I am certain that some of their music would be in our show.
As it stands, unfortunately, they are based in the United States and as such, their music is not considered for Hideo.
If you have a fondness for Blizzard’s music like myself and so many others, you should check out their new music page they launched last week. They have albums from Diablo II with a sample from Diablo III, both Starcraft games, and several from the Warcraft universe.
I like that their music is somewhat diverse, making use of orchestra and clean-sounding guitar quite a bit. Speaking of diverse, check out this album of tracks drawn from an in-game jukebox in Starcraft II:
Honestly, I did not expect to ever see Blizzard selling a recording of “Free Bird” or “Sweet Home Alabama”, but there it is. Wait a minute, what did I say at the start of this post? If Blizzard was based in Japan, does that mean we would have “Free Bird” in Hideo?
