10 Weeks and Counting

With just over two months (HOLY CRAP!!) to go until show-day, things have really picked up behind the scenes. Rehearsals? Sounding a-w-e-s-o-m-e! Graphic novel? We have a 4-page preview for the program completely sketched out and ready for coloring. Marketing? Kicking into high gear with new designs and artwork.

You’re probably familiar with our current poster artwork. This year – thanks to ideas from Schyler and Gary – we’re doing something new. And yesterday we just finished a special photo shoot for some new “teaser” posters. Think movie-poster style: photographs vs. illustrations and they (hopefully) make you go “Oh, that looks cool! What is it??” The teaser posters will go up in the SLO area mid-September for about two weeks, after which we’ll replace them with our standard posters. Here’s a behind-the-scenes peek at the work we did yesterday:

I can’t wait to see the final teaser posters! What do you think of our new designs??
